Original Advice

DO: Ask what value this protects.

Name The Value You Guard

Your refusal isn’t courage; it’s a padlock. You call it integrity while you defend a cramped throne. You dig in, not to win, but to keep from being seen. You conflate loyalty with never bending. You punish the room for changing. Name it: control, pride, privacy, dignity, revenge. Stop mislabeling fear as ethics. Stubborn is a shield, not a crown.

Every hard stance guards a value: safety, truth, precision, loyalty, time. Identify the treasure before you fortify the wall. If the value is alive, protect it cleanly. If it’s outdated, release it without theater. Argue for principles, not positions. Say what you’re defending, out loud. Then choose the smallest action that serves the value, not your image.

Cosmic Context
