Original Advice
“DO: Name the need behind your hurt quickly.”
Name It Before You Roar
Your feelings aren’t noble until they’re clear. When you get stung, you perform. You posture, go silent, or start lighting matches. That’s camouflage. Under the smoke is a simple need: attention, respect, inclusion, touch, time, truth. Name it before your pride writes a tragedy. Say the need out loud. Fast. Raw is better than grand. Precision beats drama. Stop bleeding on people who didn’t cut you.
Needing isn’t weakness. It’s navigation. When you say the need, you cut the story, the blame, the mystery. People can meet specifics. They can’t decode stage directions. Use seven words or fewer. Start with I need. Fill in one thing: reassurance, eye contact, clarity, space, speed, a plan, an apology. Speak it within minutes, not by midnight. Your heart heals faster than your ego. Lead with the heart.
Cosmic Context
You are fixed fire, ruled by the Sun. Name your needs and your heat becomes a hearth instead of a wildfire.
